Folk Art Centre - Battaramulla

This institute is under the ministry of Rural Industry. The institute provide accommodation facilities for those who need.

Courses include; Mask industry, Laksha (painting with lacquers on coconut shells and wood for handicraft items), Gem Cutting, Producing Ceramic items, Producing Leather products, Producing coir products, Producing weaving and embroidery products. Duration : 6 months.

One year full time courses: Wood carving, Dancing (Up-country, Low-country, and Sabaragamu), Art and murals, and Music courses.
