The Abhina Teacher Training Courses are conducted by the academy as an additional measure to ensure that Sri Lankan children receive the best education possible.
As the local education system expanded to encompass more and more subjects, there was an increasing demand for teachers for new subjects such as Visual Arts, Theatre, Drama and Music.
The Abhina Academy, sponsored by the Norwegian Embassy and endorsed by the Education Ministry, stepped in to provide the subject teachers a practical knowledge and know-how of the fields, where the teachers were supported with practices to enhance their theoretical knowledge.
Differently Abled Educators
The workshops on Differently Abled Persons aim to give those who are interested in caring and helping differently abled people a thorough knowledge of the subject.
The comprehensive workshops help people learn to care for differently abled persons with understanding and patience. It also helps people build lasting bonds and relate to differently abled persons, with a focus on providing education for differently abled persons.
