Created in 1998 by the French Ministries of Foreign Affairs and National Education, the EduFrance Agency which became CampusFrance recently, is a network devoted to French higher education. It has 80 offices (notably 29 in Asia and 20 in South America) in 49 countries and numerous satellite points.
As well as providing information and guidance for foreign students, this public organization is designed to help higher education institutes and universities at the international level: promotion of courses offered, selection of students, meetings with other institutions, etc. CampusFrance has set up - in partnership with the French National office of Information about teaching and the professions (Onisep) - an on-line guidance system, with 22,000 higher education courses in its data base http://www.campusfrance.org

Admission requirements
Medicine:- the course will be preceded by a 10 month preparatory course in Russian language, if the medium of instruction is Russian. GCE A/L passes in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, as main subjects. (minimum of 50% marks taken together) and English individually. Course duration will be in 7 years in Russian medium and 6 years in English medium.
Engineering and Humanities Courses :- Bachelor’s course 4 Years, Masters Degree 5.5 Years. A 10 month preparatory course will proceed if the medium of instruction is Russian. GCE A/L passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects
Scholarships Offered
The government of the Russian Federation is granting 20 Undergraduate scholarships and 10 postgraduate scholarships to Sri Lanka to pursue studies in Russia. Typical start dates: All Russian institutions start in September.
